What You’ll Do
- Design the technical architecture for Amazon’s generative AI platform and conversational HR assistant.
- Build, test, and deliver production software systems that support employee HR experiences.

- Improve system accuracy, response latency, quality, reliability, and scalability.
- Make technical decisions involving software architecture, design patterns, and system performance.
- Contribute to the engineering practices needed to maintain production software.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers through mentoring, technical leadership, or engineering team leadership.
What You Need
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience with design patterns, system reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience across the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices covering architecture, continuous deployment, testing, code reviews, source control management, and operational excellence.
