What You’ll Do
- Own and improve features across the US payroll process, including pay schedules, regular and off-cycle payrolls, approvals, payroll funding and data checks.
- Work on tax setup, employee and contractor tax documents such as W-2 and 1099, deductions and garnishments.
- Improve integrations with benefits providers, including 401(k) and health insurance platforms, and accounting tools such as QuickBooks.
- Write product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Engineering and Design to deliver reliable product features.
- Speak with US payroll administrators and customers to understand their workflows, challenges and requirements.
- Work with Customer Experience, Implementation and Support teams to investigate escalations, identify root causes and address recurring issues.
- Coordinate with integration partners, understand their APIs and track issues that affect customers.
- Define success metrics, monitor feature adoption and correctness, and use data to improve product performance.

- Typically 1–2 years of experience in product management, product analysis, business analysis or a similar role in B2B SaaS.

- Comfort working with data through basic SQL, spreadsheets or dashboards.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn how APIs work and how data moves between systems.
- Interest in testing features, investigating problems and helping teams identify lasting fixes.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to finance, fintech, payments, accounting, payroll or HR technology.
- Experience working with US customers or products designed for the US market.
- A CA, CA-Inter, CPA, CFA or finance-related degree is a bonus, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with API documentation, product analytics and software integrations.
