Qualcomm India is hiring an Engineer for its Engineering Group, Software Engineering team in Hyderabad. The role involves developing and validating embedded and cloud-edge software, applications and utility programs.
The position works with systems, hardware, architecture and test teams to build software features and support product development. The role is performed under supervision and includes coding, testing, debugging, code reviews and technical documentation.
What You’ll Do
- Support the design, development, modification and validation of embedded and cloud-edge software.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements.
- Design and implement small software features for products and systems.
- Write code, perform unit testing, make minor debugging fixes and support integration work.
- Assist with code reviews, regression testing and issue triage.
- Work with other members of the project team to complete software development tasks.
- Prepare technical documentation for software projects.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java or Python.
- 1+ year of experience with database management software.
- 1+ year of experience working with APIs.
- 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce or another source code management system.
- Ability to communicate basic technical information in written and verbal form.
