- Use JavaScript and GlideScript for ServiceNow automation and contribute to AI agents and skills.
- Work with ServiceNow APIs, web services, integrations, and application maintenance.
- Collaborate with senior engineers through design reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support issue triage, bug fixing, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience, as stated in the qualifications.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or JavaScript, with willingness to learn other languages.
- Prior ServiceNow experience, which the employer identifies as mandatory.
- Understanding of version control, software testing, debugging, and core software engineering concepts.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and modern web services.
- Problem-solving ability, clear communication, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to take feedback, ask for guidance when needed, and manage assigned tasks independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certification, which the employer describes as highly desirable.
- Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with hands-on experience using LLMs or AI APIs considered an advantage.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Interest in software quality, testing, automation, and continuous learning.
