Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer 2 for its EU 3P (MFN) Acceleration Team in Hyderabad. The team builds systems that support third-party sellers using Amazon’s Merchant Fulfilment Network across European marketplaces.
The role involves developing distributed systems and services using technologies such as AWS and Machine Learning. Engineers work across the software development lifecycle, from system design and implementation through deployment and improvements. What You’ll Do
- Design, develop and deploy high-performance code that is scalable, reliable and maintainable.
- Work across different stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Design and improve system architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and design reviews.
- Work with engineers from other Amazon teams to build and scale services.
- Develop solutions for complex problems in large-scale distributed systems.
What You Need
- 3+ years of professional software development experience outside internships.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
