ServiceNow is hiring a Software Engineer for its AI Experience Framework (AIUX) team in Hyderabad. The team develops the platform behind ServiceNow’s AI-focused user interfaces, using reusable web components and conversational experiences.
The role involves full-stack engineering across JavaScript and web components, AI integration, server-side rendering, performance and the ServiceNow Glide platform. You will work with product owners from design through implementation, testing and delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Build clean, scalable and reusable software following engineering practices such as code reviews and unit testing.
- Work with product owners to understand requirements and take features from design through implementation, test automation and delivery.
- Design software that customers can extend and customize.
- Help develop new products and features and improve existing functionality.
- Work across AI integration, performance and the web component architecture used by the AIUX team.
What You Need
- 2+ years of experience with Java or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- Strong interest in JavaScript and web technologies, including reusable and component-based development.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and design patterns.
- Understanding of performance and scalability considerations.
- Experience with a modern UI framework such as Angular, React or Vue.
- Experience using development tools such as IDEs, debuggers, build tools and source control.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow instances, profilers and Unix/system administration tools.
- Experience using or evaluating AI for work processes, decision-making or problem solving.
- Analytical and software design skills.
