What You’ll Do
- Monitor alerts from monitoring agents round the clock.
- Perform the first triage of each alert from tools such as PagerDuty, Kibana and Grafana.
- Watch the console or operations bridge for events, database backups and batch jobs.
- Track alerts such as disk failure, server failure and services not responding, and escalate them to the right team.
- Log tickets and start the right process for each trigger under event and incident management.
- Prepare event management and incident management reports.
- Monitor health checks.
What You Need
- Any graduate degree (UG).
- 1 to 2 years of relevant, real-time experience.
- Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Basic knowledge of AWS or Azure.
- Moderate knowledge of Grafana and ELK Stack.
- Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of Jenkins, Terraform, Puppet and JIRA.
- Kubernetes.
