Wells Fargo is hiring a Commercial Loan Closing Associate for its Operations team in Hyderabad. The role supports pre-close and post-close activities for commercial, commercial real estate and problem loans.
The position involves coordinating loan closings, completing customer and loan diligence, maintaining loan portfolios, updating systems of record and following bank and regulatory requirements. The associate will manage an assigned loan portfolio and work with customers, colleagues, managers and other internal teams to resolve issues.
What You’ll Do
- Support pre-close and post-close activities for commercial, commercial real estate and problem loans.
- Coordinate commercial loan closings with customers.
- Complete customer, loan and regulatory diligence.
- Maintain assigned loan portfolios and perform ongoing portfolio maintenance.
- Evaluate information and upload accurate data into systems of record.
- Follow Wells Fargo policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Work with colleagues and managers to resolve issues and meet business goals.
- Interact with internal customers and exercise independent judgment within assigned responsibilities.
What You Need
- At least 6 months of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience or education.
- Ability to work within banking policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage assigned loan-related work and resolve issues with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Tachyon or Agentspace for routine tasks while maintaining human oversight.
- Ability to review and validate AI-generated information before using it for business decisions.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including data privacy, ethics and compliance.
- Willingness to learn and keep up with new technology.
