Amazon’s Fulfillment Technologies team is hiring a DevOps Engineer for its AFT Platform Engineering and Services team in Hyderabad. The role involves managing mission-critical services that support Amazon’s fulfillment network worldwide.
The engineer will work with business, program management and software engineering teams on service improvements, automation and operational excellence. The role also includes troubleshooting technical systems, supporting highly available services, managing smaller development projects and building internal tools.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and support mission-critical services used across Amazon’s fulfillment network.
- Improve service reliability, operational processes and automation.
- Work with business, program management and software engineering teams on technical initiatives.
- Help translate fulfillment strategy into operational improvements and scalable services.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical systems.
- Drive smaller development projects and build custom tools.
- Support highly available systems and contribute to service improvements.
What You Need
- 3+ years of technical support experience.
- Experience writing scripts using modern programming languages.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Customer-focused approach to technical support and service management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of web services and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of web application development.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software RAID.
