GlobalLogic is hiring a 3D Modeler in Hyderabad to create 3D assets for mapping and visualization projects. The work involves converting 2D source material into structured 3D representations of roads, buildings, terrain, water bodies, bridges and other city elements.
The role requires practical knowledge of 3D modeling, low-poly modeling and texturing, along with strong visual and spatial awareness. Candidates must have a graduation degree and be willing to work from the office in rotational shifts, with 5 working days and 2 weekly offs. The position is listed as full-time and experienced.
What You’ll Do
- Use relevant 3D tools and proprietary platforms to complete assigned modeling work.
- Convert 2D source material into accurate 3D models of roads, buildings, terrain, water bodies, bridges and city props.
- Apply visual and spatial understanding when building structured 3D representations.
- Choose suitable 3D styles and explain the reasoning behind modeling decisions.
- Check source data for accuracy and consistency before using it in the modeling process.
- Deliver project outputs according to the required tools, processes and quality standards.
What You Need
- 1+ years of experience with 3D modeling tools such as 3ds Max, Maya, Illustrator, SolidWorks, Photoshop or proprietary tools.
- Demonstrated ability or aptitude in 3D modeling.
- Good understanding of low-poly modeling and texturing techniques.
- Strong visual and spatial awareness.
- Ability to interpret real-world environments and represent their essential details in 3D.
- Strong visualization and interpretation skills.
- Any graduation degree.
- Provisional Certificate and Consolidated Marks Memo are required.
- Willingness to work from office and in rotational shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in 3D modeling from a reputed institute.
- Additional skills in 3D animation, lighting, rendering, compositing or editing.
