Amazon’s International Seller Services organization is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Hyderabad team. The role focuses on building tools for third-party Sellers and Account Managers using cloud computing, generative AI and agentic AI.
The team works on products that help Sellers with activities such as registration, listing compliance and adoption of Amazon programs. It also builds tools that automate workflows for Account Managers. The role involves developing new services, improving existing products and working with product managers, engineers and applied science teams across Amazon.
What You’ll Do
- Build Seller and Account Manager tools using cloud computing and generative AI.
- Develop new products and services and improve existing engineering tools.
- Work on AI assistants that help Sellers with registration, listing compliance and Amazon programs.
- Build automation for Account Manager workflows and tasks.
- Work with product managers and Account Managers worldwide to develop product roadmaps and user experiences.
- Collaborate with engineering and applied science teams.
- Evaluate and incorporate developments in generative and agentic AI into software products.
What You Need
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Experience with a modern programming language such as Java, C++ or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing and operations.
- Experience building generative AI or agentic AI solutions.
Before You Apply
