Mattel is hiring an Analyst, Security, Cybersecurity Awareness for its Hyderabad team. The role manages the company’s cybersecurity training and awareness platform and supports security awareness campaigns, phishing simulations and compliance activities.
The position also works closely with cybersecurity governance, Privacy and other business teams. The role includes tracking training completion, maintaining compliance documentation, supporting audits and helping resolve issues with the security awareness platform.
What You’ll Do
- Administer and manage the cybersecurity training and awareness platform, such as KnowBe4 or a similar tool.
- Coordinate cybersecurity awareness campaigns across the organization.
- Track training participation and completion to support compliance requirements.
- Plan and run phishing simulation campaigns.
- Work with Privacy and other business teams to roll out required security training.
- Handle platform-related issues and provide user support.
- Support cybersecurity governance analysts with audit and assessment requirements.
- Prepare and manage compliance documentation, audit artifacts and control evidence.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT Management, Computer Science, Privacy & Ethics or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance or audit support.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations such as NIST CSF 2.0, SOX, CCPA, PII and HSP, or similar standards.
- Understanding of how security controls are designed, implemented and evidenced.
- Experience creating or managing audit artifacts, compliance documentation and control narratives.
- Familiarity with AuditBoard or a comparable governance and audit management platform.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with KnowBe4, FableAI or a similar cybersecurity training platform.
- Experience working with external auditors.
- Exposure to privacy compliance and PII or data protection requirements.
- Experience presenting audit or compliance status to senior leadership.
